Love these ideas. I’m over the traditional chocolate filled advent calendars, so i’m glad to see other ideas. Expensive but they would be totally worth it.

Lush has two gorgeous Advent calendars. If only someone would buy me one!

I absolutely love advent calendars but the prices are a bit over the top on some of them. It would be cheaper to buy the empty ones and fill it with 24 small gifts and swap with a friend or partner. Plus you wouldn’t know what was in it that way either.

These are fantastic ideas for friends and family members but unfortunately over my price range. They would have been perfect for family members that I can’t get to see and I know they would love to receive them. Maybe I could get a few family members to go in with me to buy one or two

I’d love an advent calendar. The Lancôme one looks inviting but I’m not wanting to spend that much money. A couple that weren’t mentioned, Amazon did one but I think it’s sold out now. The Revolution beauty and the Look Fantastic calendars are also good. I don’t think I could hold myself back from opening all the days at once.

That Bilson’s one looks like a lot of fun! The only issue with these special advent calendars is that they are usually really expensive and they are probably marked up to a lot more than if you just bought the products yourself without them being an advent calendar. You would be better off buying the things and making your own, or have someone else make one for you, while you make one for them.

There are two L’Occitane advent calendars! I’m really trying not to pull the trigger, it’s so tempting.

I will wish that someone out there might like me enough to buy one or two of these advent calendars for me to count down to Christmas day with, however, I do know that it just won’t happen, and especially this year with everything having already gone up hugely in price and making life just so much harder to make ends meet. But I can dream, can’t I?

I love them, but think they’re quite dear. Geberally speaking we don’t really invest in Advent calendars, cause for us it goes of our Christmas budget and would mean you turn up empty handed or nearly empty handed for Christmas. Although last year I did one for my husband as our wedding anniversary is on the 26th of December and his birthday soon after, so I always need gift ideas for 3 occasions close together.

I haven’t had an Advent Calendar ever as it was not a thing back home. Although this year, it would be nice to get the beauty products for myself, the happy socks for hubby and maybe make a personalized one for my kids that I could make using my cutting machine.

There are some seriously adventurous advent calendars on the market these days. I would love to purchase some of these. My youngest would go nuts for the fairy floss one, my daughter the makeup one and my 14 year son would love the sock one. They just need to do one with crazy undies for my partner.

I would love one of the beauty product ones but what I would really delight in would be one that counted down the months until next Christmas and behind each door was a book. Twelve books to get me through the year. I read a lot more then that but twelve surprises would be awesome.

I remember when people went crazy over how bad the Chanel advent calendar was a couple of years ago! I’d love any and all of these but I think there are many other great options out there and you can make your own! I might look into that.

These are such lovely ideas, over our budget though. Would be great to see a kids version of advent calenders available.

I absolutely love these Advent Calendars but the price of most of them is far too dear for us. Considering our Christmas budget per person is around $200, with for example the The Body Shop Mega Advent Calendar of $199, I would reach that budget already…. So sadly it is a no for us.
