This is the softest play dough you’ll ever make and the best bit – no cooking on the stove.

Material

  • 1/2 cup shaving cream
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 2 drops food colouring

Method

  1. Mix together equal parts shaving cream and corn starch in a bowl.
  2. Roll out on to a clean board then knead it until it starts to form dough.
  3. Add a few drops of food colouring to colour it, then knead some more.

Notes... Add more cornflour if the mixture is too wet. Add more shaving cream if the mixture is too dry.

  • Will be trying this in the next week.

  • I’ve made this recipe dozens of times. You can also add a drop of peppermint or vanilla for an extra sensory experience. The only downside to this play dough is that it doesn’t keep as long as other play dough.
