Hello!

This is an easy game you can take anywhere. It’s great for getting the kids to use their imaginations and creativity when drawing.

Material

  • 1 cup
  • 2 pieces of paper
  • scissors and textas

Method

  1. Take one blank piece of paper and cut it into strips.
Write words on each strip and place them in the cup.
Have your child pick a piece of paper out of the cup - whatever word they have they draw it on the second piece of paper.

Notes

This game can also be very educational. Use your child's spelling/reading words for the week and they're doing homework without realising it!

  • I found a rolled up piece of cardboard in a cupboard the other day. Had a game on it created by my son. Quite a few days spent playing that. Son loved it because he made up the rules, that usually changed daily lol

  • I used to play a Mr Squiggle game with my kids. Where one would do a Squiggle and another had to make it into something. It was a lot of fun trying to work out what the end picture was
