Hello!

I am a teacher and I like to give my students little gifts at the end of the year. These are easy to make in bulk, relatively cheap and are just that little bit educational :-)

Material

  • Gift bags
  • Ribbons
  • Minties, Starburst Lollies, Fizzers, pencils

Method

  1. Put one Starburst lollie, Mintie, snack size chips, snack size Oreo and a small packet of pencils into the gift bag.
  2. Tie up, using a ribbon.
  3. Create the cards with puns for the front - you can either handwrite, or create on the computer and print off.

Some of the puns I use:
    This year has been MINT
Thank you for making smiles BURST onto my face.
You have CHIPPED away at your work,
You are such a smart COOKIE.
Don't let your holidays be a FIZZER, make them just WRITE.

Notes

You could also use these as a parent to give to your children's classmates.

About The Author

I have a beautiful little daughter, who means the absolute world to me. I work full time and hubby is a stay at home daddy. It suits us perfectly. I live my life on the concept that positivity radiates from within. You need to give out what you want back from the world. Smile and be patient, don't judge and assume and be thankful for what you have, right here and now.

  • This is such a weird concept for me to wrap my head around. I never gave a teacher a present, nor did my teachers give presents. It didn’t happen when my kids were school age either, mist they got was a card. Why has it changed?
