A beautiful use for your everyday roses. Great activity for the kids which can be a week long project


Material

  • Roses from Garden

Method

  1. Collect Roses from your garden and arrange in a vase to enjoy
  2. Once roses start to wilder/die, take them out of vase
  3. Take petals off roses and put aside to dry. Either in a bowl or on a plate
  4. Once rose petals are dry, they can be used for an assortment of activites
    Eg, potpuri, art work decoration

Notes

With a yard full of roses, we pick our roses to enjoy inside our house. Dining table/lounge room. We then have a second use with the petals where we use the petals in potpuri . Or with oils for fragance in robes

  • I used to make perfume with rose petals and other assorted smelly flowers as a kid. I remember I mixed some up and gave it to mum as a present. Lol

  • I have a massive Rose bush in my garden. It’s as big as our shed, which is pretty big. Our back lawn is covered in petals. So pretty
