My dad told me about his mums recipe

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • few drops until your happy of essential oils
  • 1 cup water

  1. Put the salt in a saucepan and add the water stir over heat until salt has dissolved. Allow to cool completely and then add oil, cream of tartar, food colouring (optional), essential oil( optional) and flour mixing until combined.

Then place on a floured surface and knead until firm.

This is super fun and not at all expensive.

  • If anybody at all in your house has Coelic Disease or wheat allergy you just change the flour to Gluten Free Flour. Children often lick their fingers when playing. At only takes a tiny bit to make anybody with either medical problem to get very ill.
