Doubt it would have the following these days – the young don’t want to wait a week for the next episode – they want to binge all at once.

Won’t be the same. New people, new story lines, they won’t be able to recreate the originals popularity

I loved this show when I was younger. But I’m not sure it would be as popular nowadays as times and tastes have changed considerably

I wonder if there’s really an audience for this…

I used to love watching the original. I’d have to wait and see the new version to see if I still felt the same way though.

That’s kind of cool, I was a bit young to really remember it but I love that an Australian classic is making a come back.

I watched this in and out, but not as much as some other TV Dramas. I imagine a few of these characters are no longer with us.

It is the continuing story with some of the original characters but focusing on the next gen. Why not. A good wholesome family show.

Loved A Country Practice. Would love to see this recreated. I thought the hospital building was up for sale awhile back. This could generate a whole new audience as well as original fans.

Although I’m interested to see how they will do it.. I think it would be hard to create something as good as the orginal

I loved this show. We have named one of our chooks ‘Esme’ as she reminded me of the character I this series

I hope they bring it back. I’m certain there was a lot of medical research done during the writing of this series. It will be interesting to see who the actors are. Some of the original ones have possibly retired, or sadly may no longer be alive

Will be interesting to see who they cast, I am guessing Fatso won’t be back, with our political correct society these days, the word Fatso won’t be allowed along with many other things. It will be a totally different show to the old one.
