  • I work with special needs children and have 3 girls and 3 boys in my care. All 3 of the boys names made the list.

  • I love the top ten lists purely so I know what names to steer away from. Particularly when they get to primary school and might have another child named the same in their class

  • None of these names really jumps out for me. My sons name is not on the list and I’m glad about that

  • I didn’t opt for trends, popularity, weirdness, originality etc when choosing baby names. Theyre not the only ones with their names, but that’s ok

  • My son isn’t on any of them, thankfully! Majority of them are all too common and there will be classrooms full of them

  • We chose Hudson 3 years before actually having our beautiful boy before realising it was in the top 20.

  • Such a good list of names

  • Great list of names, quite a few you hear of often but a lot not so much. I have a friend with a Mateo and this is the first time I have ever seen the name again.

  • Happy to see, or not see actually, my boys names on here. I never was one to follow fashion or trends set by others

  • So many weird names with weird spelling make it harder for kids when they get older, I know because my surname is difficult and I spent all my life spelling it out, and being a two word surname even computes often don’t like the space in between. Of course this article turns into an advert.

  • I think it’s important to remember that the child has to carry that name throughout their life (unless they hate it and have it changed). Working in child care I’ve come across from totally weird names – names that the mothers have admitted came to them in their dreams.

  • I’m about to give birth soon and if it’s a boy Levi is our name we absolutely adore! Some great ideas from this list however and some not so good but each to their own

    Reply

  • Gosh there’s certainly some different ones on there! Not all that I like but each to their own
