Just horrible that you’re not even safe in your own home! I guess it’s lucky they didn’t hurt the baby, but it still has to grow up without a mum, poor darling

I wonder if it was pre-meditated or perhaps a break-in. If it is domestic violence and the father is involved you would think he would have taken the baby. I think he should still be obliged to pay child support if he is found.

Yes, 5 months is young, but old enough to leave damage to the brain development of the baby as a mum is the earliest attachment figure and essential for basic trust. I hope the baby is surrounded with loving trustworthy family figures.
