The holiday season is here and as you make your way from brunches to bottomless cocktails, don’t forget it’s your liver that’s on clean up duty, helping your body process it all.

Now scientists are shining the spotlight on one of nature’s wonders to support liver health, that’s the seed associated with the milky leaf called milk thistle, also known as Silybum marianum.

The milk thistle seed used in BYHEALTH Milk Thistle is sourced from Spain and certified by the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO), a France-based organisation. Being able to trace the origins of raw ingredients like the milk thistle plant puts BYHEALTH on the front foot when it comes to product transparency. Many experts are tipping that these kinds of traceability programs will play a significant role in the future of health supplements.

  • I never heard of ByHealth before and don’t actually know much about Milk Thistle, other than it’s often used to increase milk production by breastfeeding mums.

  • Never heard of this company before.
I watched on one of those a current affair shows a thing on vitamins and which brands were the most and least effective and those that had been around for ages ranked the highest in being the most effective – Nasties Nature’s way and Blackmores.
Brands like Swisse being the most ineffective which is probably why they’re so cheap and always on sale because no one really buys them.
This brand wasn’t on there so will need to do more research on it outside of its own website.
