A car crash over night has seen a mother killed and her multiple children injured.
In the NSW Hunter Valley, a mother has died and her four children have been injured after their car crashed into a fence post.
Driving on the Golden Highway, west of Denman, the 49-year-old woman lost control on a bend in the road. She was instantly killed when the car hit a fence post, rolled and smashed into a telegraph pole.
Four children in the car, including twin 15-year-old girls, a five-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The children’s mother died at the scene.
