On April 7, 2016, one-year-old Shreyan Thapa was hit by an out of control car as he walking with his Grandmother along a street in Auburn, he later died from injuries sustained from the accident, and now, the 60 year old P-Plate driver has been charged with his death.

Yesterday a 60 year old woman was charged with negligent driving occasioning in death, her license has been suspended and she is due to face court in Burwood on the 25th July.

On the day locals and a doctor rushed to help the little boy before paramedics arrived, though he died later at Westmead Hospital. His grandmother was also taken to hospital where she was treated for shock.

This family is very much in our thoughts.
