One incredibly lucky person is walking around, possibly none the wiser to having won the $80 Million PowerBall. The hunt is now on for the lucky ticket holder who purchased their $80 million Powerball ticket in Victoria.
The Lotto App crashed yesterday as thousands rushed to enter the draw to win one of the biggest Lottery prizes in Australia’s history, yet only one person held the division one numbers.
For those who would like to check their entries…. the winning numbers were 33, 2, 32, 31, 28, 21 and 26. The all important PowerBall was number 12.
Six lucky winners shared a Division two prize of $204,822.85 each.
As per the statement made on www.thelott.com.au the winning ticket was not from a registered player.
“The multi-million-dollar winning entry is not registered to a Tatts Card, which means officials from the Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the incredible news and have to wait for them to come forward.
The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said
“Someone in Victoria could be completely unaware that their life has changed forever, scoring the mouth-watering $80 million jackpot in tonight’s Powerball draw,” she said.
“We are encouraging all Victorian players to check their entries online, via the Lott website or app, or if you choose to visit a store, please practice social distancing. We can’t wait to unite this player with their prize!
“If you do realise you’re holding that multi-million-dollar ticket from tonight’s draw, please call us on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
IMAGINE the possibilities this type of winnings would bring, what would you do first?
