Children are among three dead after a fire ripped through a Canberra house.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit.

Fire crews were called to the home in the suburb of Bonner at 8.30am on Monday morning, reports 7 news.

Initially, it was ruled no one had been injured in the blaze, but during a search of the property around midday, the bodies of one adult and two children were discovered.

  • Hope the children RIP. What a terrible thing to happen – if it is arson I hope they get a big sentence.

  • If it is proven to be arson it is also murder and I hope the culprits are arrested quickly
