Congratulations Sonia! - Mouths of Mums

The always gorgeous Sonia Kruger has just shared some wonderful news on social media.

The Big Brother host, and her partner of 5 years Craig McPherson, have welcomed their first child together.

Taking to Instagram, Sonia posted this beautiful photo with the caption:

“Guess what…they fit! Little Maggie Kruger McPherson born this morning. #happybirthday #babygirl”

The 49-year-old announced her pregnancy back in August and revealed that after a long struggle with IVF, that she had conceived via a donor egg.

“I wanted to be really clear today on the show with our viewers and let everybody know that I did go through IVF and I did have an egg donor,” Sonia said on an episode of Mornings.

‘‘I think it’s entirely possible to be as in love with a baby that doesn’t necessarily share your DNA, as it is when you adopt a child and you fall in love with that child.”

Last month the star shared her excitement about the impending arrival, posting a photo of little Maggie’s car seat:

“I may have peaked early…#baby #carseat #maxicos”

Congratulations! I think older mums tend to be more relax about motherhood. They are also more patient. So the only advice is trust your instinct and just enjoy being a mum!
