Last week, David Campbell announced that he and wife Lisa had welcomed twins into the world.

Taking to Instagram, the host of Channel 9’s Mornings posted:

“Hey guys. Here is William David Campbell and Elizabeth Ann Campbell. We call them Billy and Betty. Mum is wonderful. Leo is excited and I am doubly in love.”

And now, a week on, the star has shared more adorable photos of Billy and Betty, posting:

Leo can’t wait to play with his little brother but he loves cuddling his little sister. #leo #betty #love #family”

Five more minutes, then we will get up…Promise #twinning #twinsofinstagram #billyandbetty”

Lisa has described the first week of having twins as being a “joy”, an outcome that was very unexpected for the couple.

The mum-of-three also took to social media to thank all the staff at the Prince of Wales Hospital, her dear sister-in-law and friend Mahalia Barnes, as well as “the one they call Superdad”, her husband David.

  • Friends of ours fostered identical twins. They always woke up at the same time, wanted a feed at the same time and fortunately went to sleep at about the same time. They wore bracelets as that was the only way you could tell them apart……except somebody discovered that one had a slightly deeper cry than the other.
I have twin cousins – 1 boy and 1 girl. They are about the same height, same colour hair and eyes, but sadly one passed away last year.
