Even “The Body” Elle Macpherson has struggled with feeling pressure to drop the post-baby weight in just three weeks, following the birth of her first child Arpad Flynn.

Opening up to expectant mum, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 30, in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar, the 53-year-old said: ‘I was not a good example.’

Speaking of the pressures many women, including herself, have faced in dropping the baby weight quickly, Elle told Rosie: ‘If I could give advice to any woman having a baby it’s to take your time.’

‘I was not a good example because I did all that (shedding the weight quickly) for my first child (Flynn) and within three weeks I was back to normal.

‘It was not a healthy way of doing it. I wouldn’t do that again and I certainly didn’t do it for my second baby (Aurelius Cy),’ Elle continued.

The veteran supermodel urged Rosie to shed her baby weight slowly, and that in the grand scheme a few extra months won’t make a difference, shared Daily Mail.

  • Unless you have a full time nanny you won’t have the energy to lose all your baby weight in the first 3 weeks.
