I have 3 daughters and as each of them got their period for the first time they received a posy of flowers delivered to them by the florist from me with a card saying “welcome to the club”….getting your period is no fun but i figured that it had to be acknowledged some how.

I for some reason heard a person sharing this on the radio last week, her grandma apparently threw a party for her first period. I don’t think its a very good reason for a party as its a touch embarrassing at that age and not everyone needs to know when your on your monthly’s (like its not obvious already from the moods swings eeeek!!!!).
