We all love the idea of cuddling up to our little ones as we sleep, but the reality is a very different story.

Watch as this mum tries to get 40 winks, without the help of her adorable toddler …

  • From the first day we came home with our baby, she went straight into her own cot in her own room. I received alot of flack over this, but after 4 weeks she was sleeping like a dream and we are 4 months in and I have no sleep issues with her! I do not judge other mothers over there decision to co-sleep or have babies sleep in there room; I think we all do what is right for us and our babies.

  • No fun when you just about end up on the floor. Back to back and he kept pushing against me and I must have reacted by moving away from his legs and feet. He is a real wriggle worm. i don’t mind if he has a cough and I have to keep him propped up a bit so he doesn’t keep coughing and wake himself up. His older brother isn ‘t quite so bad, except he puts his cold feet on me.

  • It was very obvious that the Mum was filming this herself. However even given that it seemed all a little set up it goes to show that co-sleeping can be no fun at all.

  • I never had a problem with co-sleeping when my bubs were little. Once they turned 2-3, it was another story. Our youngest currently wakes me up with, “Mummy, wipe my bottom time please”, or “Mummy, its morning time. The sun is up”, or “Mummy, I’m not tired any more. Look, I’m not tired!”
