Hello!

We are obsessed with anything to do with creme eggs and we can barely control ourselves with the news that there is now a real-life creme egg gin. That’s right – a liqueur that tastes like those deliciously decadent creme eggs.

I seriously can’t think of anything better – eating and drinking creme eggs all at the same time. This boozy creme egg gin has been launched just in time for Easter.

Brambles Creme Egg gin juniper liqueur is described as tasting of chocolate and fondant and is a rich brown colour. Glug glug glug!

The British gin liqueur company has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 20 per cent, which is standard for most gin liqueurs. Although this is lower than regular gins which usually have an ABV of around 40 per cent.

Take The Chance

However, the creme egg gin is not affiliated to Cadbury, who makes the chocolate Creme eggs, so there is no guarantee that the alcohol will taste like the branded treat, But hey, we’re willing to take the risk and try it out for ourselves.

There one catch though – at the moment, the creme egg gin is being sold in discount health and beauty chain, Savers across the UK for a mere £7.99 (about AUD15.70) for a 500ml bottle.

You can also buy it online at specialist websites including Ginspiration, which is selling the same bottle for £14.99 (around AUD29).

Rum Too

Alternatively, there is also a creme egg flavoured rum called Sweet Little Creme Egg liqueur, described as a chocolate and fondant flavoured Rum based on the classic Childhood sweet we all know and love! This is available online for for £21.99 (AUD43).

Now we just need to convince our rellos living in the UK to send us a bottle or three!

  • The bottle is cute. I’ve never had gin so no idea if I’ll like it. I have tried the Cadbury Creme eggs and am not a fan. May as well eat spoonfuls of sugar, too sweet for my tastebuds
