Hello!

We know that the nappy bill adds up. We’ve got twin toddlers so you can imagine how many nappies we go through. We’ve just about tried every brand to find that ultimate nappy – one that fits, doesn’t leak and contains those inevitable poo explosions.

Our nappy of choice has always been Huggies – we find that they just fit the shape of our babies’ bodies like a glove, they’re hardy, pretty much leak-proof and the kids always love the fun patterns printed on the outside (yes, I know this isn’t the most important criteria but a little bit of distraction when changing a wriggling two-year-old always helps).

Same Quality ; Lower Price

Obviously buying some of the best nappies on the market come with a price tag and we occasionally found ourselves having to switch to a cheaper brand to meet our monthly budget. So I was so excited to hear that Huggies has just launched a new value range called Huggies® Essentials Nappies. They boast the same top quality that I have come to value with the regular Huggies nappies but at a significantly lower price.

Huggies Essentials - Crawler (1)

This new range has been launched as a direct response from customers like myself who are feeling the financial pinch. They are available in unisex sizes 1-6 and have been designed to provide up to 12 hours of leakage protection with the trusted absorbency Huggies parents know and love.

They come with a wetness indicator to help prevent leaks and fun Mickey Mouse designs and best of all, they’re priced at only $13 per pack.

The new Huggies® Essentials range will be available from Big W, Independent retailers Chemist Warehouse and Amazon.

In more good news, Huggies have also announced that they are planning on making its existing range more affordable by reducing their recommended retail prices while improving on product quality.

  • I hope they have changed the elactic around the waist and legs. We found they always left red marks on their skin even if they weren’t really tight. Huggies needed to drop the price of their nappies. They have always been more expensive than the others and we still had the occasional nappy explosion leak.

  • Very good. A pity I don’t have a Big W or Chemist Warehouse nearby.

  • Baby no 2 on the way and I’m so excited to hear this. Toddler is in nappy pants, to make toilet training and undies transition easier. But if budget is tight, I know this is an alternative.
I tried other brands when budget was tight but was always disappointed and often had to buy more as others did hold as much.
