Hilaria Baldwin feeds 3 month old, front row at New York Fashion Week

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin were front and center at New York Fashion Week with their two gorgeous children. The family of four attended the Carmen Marc Valvo Women’s and Men’s Collection S/S 2016 at the fashion festival and the littlest member of the family decided he was hungry and needed a bit of a feed, so Hilaria did what any mum would do and made sure his needs were met.

2 year old daughter, Carmen Gabriella was attending her second fashion show for the week and it was the first for 3 month old Rafael Thomas. Their doting mum, 31 year old yoga instructor showed the world that she is hands on despite recent rumours of having 5 nannies that she calls on.

Alec sparked controversy a few weeks back when he posted this image with the caption “I am forever indebted to the women who have helped care for our children. Muchos gracias Lizzy, Sandra, Zena, Lisa and Avril“

People immediately jumped to the conclusion that the family had five nannies to call on, though Hilaria posted responses to the haters with these messages via Instagram.

The media always sensationalise anything they can lay their hands on. It’s good to be able to leave children with someone you trust. Parents do need time for themselves too! Well done to the Baldwin.

Hahaha, love it!! But the damn media… Always loves intervening in private lives. Yes I get that they are “famous” and whatever, but they are also PEOPLE!! Who gives two damn hoots if they even had 5 nannies, that is THEIR business… Love the photo’s, absolutely beautiful!!

So what if she has a nanny? I desperately wish I had one with two kids lol! And what the difference between having a nanny and putting them into daycare to get a break?

I don’t see what the big deal is here. 1- She was bottle feeding her hungry baby, it’s not like she was front row with a boob hanging out! (I would love to see the stir if a celeb breastfed at an event like that!) 2- She is a busy woman with $$$, like she’s not going to have some help when she wants it. Good on her for being open about her parenting choices

I thought she was breastfeeding to have attracted all this attention. But she’s only bottle feeding, what’s the problem? Baby needs to be fed when baby is hungry, no matter where you are or what you are doing. And it’s only a bottle for heavens sake, I would have loved it to be breastfeeding, that would be making a statement!
