Mum shares the clever trick her husband used to get their baby to sleep.

Gold Coast mum of four, Laura Bentley, who is on Instagram as “Attempting To Mum”, recently shared the hilarious technique her husband used to get their baby to sleep.

She shared in her post, “When husband puts the baby to bed. He used a non conventional sleep aid today and it worked surprisingly well. Almost choked on my tea when he told me. #normalizenapping (Sorry dad).”

Apparently he thought it was a much better option than standing there rocking the cot. Laura admits she has also used the trick since and it worked wonders.

  • Super interesting technique! I guess if it works it works. The look of horror on their kids face when he/she is told about it when older would be totally priceless!

  • LOL trust a dad to come up with this! I’m not surprised though as my bassinet had a vibrating function on it which the kids seemed to like.

Just make sure the hygiene of the device is OK though.

  • It just sounds wrong and looks even worse with it sitting in the cot. You can get things especially designed for babies that do the same thing without looking like some kind of weirdo!
