What a bizarre story. So many unanswered questions still.

Strange story. The only thing what is clear to me is that divorce can rip and split family’s apart and can cause much damage and pain by all involved.

Glad they are okay. I dont understand why parents dont put the needs of their children first though…. Very bizzare. To hear the girls story from themselve may have allowed us a better understanding of what exactly happened and why

I’ve read about this story. It’s absolutely not clear how they were able to hide for so long. Who helped them? The mother? Some other member of the family?

When parents split, it’s so hard on the kids, even the ‘good’ divorces. Amazing how they hid….in plain sight. Hoping their lives are happier now

People say there is always 2 sides to the story. The people at the ranch have no reason to lie – it is of no benefit to them. Obviously there was no medical proof of the wife’s claims or the Dad would not have been awarded custody of the children.

Poor girls!! People grow about and unfortunately divorce is far too common now but when children are involved you would want nothing more then their happiness and their wellbeing should be the main focus not these abduction and hiding scenarios.

Such a strange story. Why would their mother and Deedee take the girls to the ranch and then leave them there for years? Was it to make it look like they were scared of their father? They are with him now – I wonder how things are? The only thing I can take out of this story is that if parents are going to divorce, they should be as amicable as possible for everyone’s sake.
