A jeweller is giving a whole new meaning to ‘pearl necklace’ revealing her latest creations are made out of semen. Really.

Amanda Booth says her Jizzy Jewelry is perfect for marking your fertility journey, as a vasectomy gift, surprising your partner or if you ‘just wanted to be that much closer’.

“We can turn your jizz into a real gem,” she proclaims on her website, Trinkets by Amanda.

Amanda, who also makes breastmilk jewellery and hand-sculpted creations incorporating cremated remains, says both male and female ‘jizz’ can be used.

“Just like all of our personal creations, you can totally cumstamize your pieces exactly the way you want them. Whether you prefer a single droplet, a full pearl necklace or sculpting something fun with your jizz! For those of you into rope play may I suggest a little wire wrapping to adorn your pieces as well?”

What started out a joke has turned into a popular request from Amanda’s customer, so she’s perfected a technique which includes dehydrating the semen samples, making them into powder and incorporating them into clay to be shaped into jewellery.

Amanda admits that actually working with the semen samples isn’t all that pleasant.

“Fresh samples are one thing, but when they’ve been in the mail for a little bit, I mean… it smells like semen, you know what I mean?” she told Vice.

“We process them at the end of the day, otherwise we’re sitting in the smell all day and it’s just… We did it in the morning one day and it was just like, ‘No, I’m never doing that again.’”

Amanda has experimented with the semen, and found that just a teaspoon of sperm mixed with clay polymer is enough to make the jewellery.
