Australian fitness influencer Kayla Itsines has revealed her second baby has arrived, releasing a series of intimate images on social media.

The 31-year-old revealing she and fiancé Jae Woodroffe are bursting with joy at the birth of their baby boy.

“We are SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW,” Kayla commented.

“We went into hospital around 6:30am on the 5th of January. He was out in the world by 8:45am weighing 3.5kgs (7.72 pounds) The most amazing thing, as he was coming out, out of nowhere on a completely random playlist the hospital was playing, Jae’s dads funeral song started playing over the speakers. “I heard Jae say at the same time, ‘It’s a boy!!!!!’. I burst into tears, he burst into tears and we got to meet our baby BOY. Jax Stokes Woodroffe. Healthy and quiet and as for Arna … even though she said she wouldn’t if he was a boy … she absolutely LOVES him!!!”

The couple revealed in July last year that they were expecting their first baby together, just days after announcing their engagement.

The 31-year-old shared photos of her ultrasound on Instagram, with the caption, “We are SO excited to share the news that our family is growing. Arna cannot wait to be a big sister and @jaewoodroffe and I could not be more happy right now!!!!! SO much to celebrate & be grateful for! We can’t wait to share this journey with you.”

Kayla Itsines Baby

Kayla shares her three-year-old daughter Arna with ex-fiancé Tobi Pearce. Jae, a personal trainer, and Kayla began dating in 2021, a year after Kayla’s split from Tobi.

Tobi and Kayla were together for eight years, co-founding Sweat, which was originally Bikini Body Guides. The pair sold Sweat for $400 million in 2020.

During her first pregnancy, the social media star hit back at critics who claimed she shouldn’t have continued her intense workouts, including lifting weights, while expecting.

“I want to put this in perspective for you,” she said at the time. “For the mums who have had kids, you would be the first to agree that there are plenty of things heavier than 5kgs in your house … no, the weight is not too heavy … no, I’m not hurting the baby.”
