You may have seen the images already but Kerri-Anne Kennerley is in the most incredible shape at 62 years old, so much so that she has bared her body on the cover of Woman’s Day in a bikini! I am sure you will agree with me that she looks amazing, though just how did she do it?

Televisions Kerri-Anne Kennerley has never been one to shy away from a camera, and it appears that the older she gets, the better she looks. These photos are a testament to being able to get in shape at any point in your life is not out of the question AND there is no Photoshop involved!

Here are the 5 commandments that Kerri-Anne has divulged to Woman’s Day

  1. Know your body type and dress accordingly.
  2. Food will become less important to you if your mind is focused on something else – like a sport or dancing.
  3. No amount of exercise will help you lose weight if you consume more calories than you burn.
  4. Think healthy. The more you eat healthy the more you will come to love it and cravings will diminish.
  5. If you eat out, choose one of the healthier options.

I think I will most certainly be following her commandments from now on!

  • She does look amazing! And it doesn’t look like the photos have been shopped! I like Kerrie-Anne, such a great of natural fresh air. You keep going girl!

  • She looks like someone half her age in the last photo.

  • she certainly looks after herself well

  • What sensible advise! I wish more people understand rule 3 as losing or maintaining a healthy weight comes down to this every time.

  • I would be happy to live by those commandments if I looked the picture of health that she does at her age.

  • I totally agree with all five points. I’m a big one for dressing for my body type. I know I can’t wear certain types of cuts of clothing, and stick to what suits my body.

  • She looks amazing and has good advice.

  • Interesting article – body image always seems to be a feature of these magazines.

  • yes i notice on the cover of the mag it states, no photoshop.
well good for you magazine editor, but shouldn’t every single photo be not photoshopped?
no wonder people have issues with their body image when everything that we see is made out to be perfect.

  • I have lived by her rules all my life – just wish I was as tall as she is.
However at 154cm I am only 54kg – so well within the BMI and my hubby has a photo of me in a bikini that I won’t post [because I don’t know how to] and I’m 71. He loves how I look.
It’s not that hard, ladies. You just have to reduce the calories to fit how much exercise/work you do. Like I tell my daughters, try to keep your mouth closed as often as possible around the food table!

  • She looks amazing can’t believe her age!!!!!
