The founder of one of many popular Kmart fan groups has made an explosive claim.

Taking to Instagram, the administrator for ‘Kmart Hacks’ announced she will shut down the page amid an ongoing toxic ‘bullying’ culture on social media.

In a lengthy rant, the admin said: ‘I’m shutting this account down permanently. I can’t do this anymore. I’m not even going to fully elaborate why.

‘Other than to say the larger Kmart influencers are a bunch of bullies. If they’re not bullies then they stand by and not say anything which to me is the same thing. So f*** them. F*** all of them.

‘If you’re considering trying to become an influencer for Kmart. Don’t. Unless you can stand fake people and a bunch of bullies and their b****y behaviour. Then go for your life. These “women” aren’t the people they portray themselves to be on your story feed. If you don’t fit into their mean girls club then get used to being an outsider.

One Australian mother told Daily Mail Australia she was bullied by another Kmart fan group for sharing her creations on social media.

‘They take screen shots of photos people post into styling groups and then mock the people and their decor and encourage their followers to do the same,’ she explained.

‘I’ve had two or three of my posts used by them in this way and it made me feel horrible. Last night I had a panic attack and struggled to get to sleep after they did it again.’

Hundreds of mothers have been revealing on Facebook how they were ‘blocked and deleted’ from fan groups for no apparent reason.

For some reason my stories aren’t working. So I’ll do this here. . I’m shutting this account down permanently. . I can’t do this anymore. . I’m not even going to fully elaborate why. . Other than to say the larger Kmart influencers are a bunch of bullies. If they’re not bullies then they stand by and not say anything which to me is the same thing. So fuck them. Fuck all of them. . If you’re considering trying to become an influencer for Kmart. Don’t. Unless you can stand fake people and a bunch of bullies and their bitchy behaviour. Then go for your life. These ‘women’ aren’t the people they portray themselves to be on your story feed. If you don’t fit into their mean girls club then get used to being an outsider. If it weren’t for accounts like mine, these Becky’s wouldn’t exist. Pathetic. . The fact that @kmartaus And @cassettesnaps support these bullies by inviting them to events while ignoring people like me because I refuse to be a part of it just because they bring them sales is just appalling. The way I was treated by these bullies at the last event was disgusting so I wouldn’t go to another event with them there so I’m not bothered. Who wants to go somewhere where they are deliberately ignored anyway? They all pretend I am attacking them unfairly and as if they’ve done nothing wrong. Ha! Believe that if you wish. I know the truth. . From this point on I will have nothing to do with Kmart as a ‘social influencer’. I’m actually embarrassed I spent 4 yrs of my life on this. My excuse is I needed a distraction for my grief when I lost my little girl. But I let it go on too long. It’s over.

  • And we wonder how children learn to bully.
Until we as adult learn how to get along how can we expect children to treat others with respect.

  • Such a waste of your time and positive energy to be part of these groups.

  • Oh dear, seriously what is this world coming to. Appalling behaviour.

  • It sounds as though it is just was well the site was unsubscribed by many people

  • It’s not just Kmart influencers, it is everywhere. I almost never post on socials for this reason. I already suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and other issues and don’t need to subject myself to the bullying. Interestingly, it seems that the people who do this kind of bullying would never do it to your face IRL. I think we as a society need to stop and take a deep breathe and just think for a second before we speak, especially if we are going to berate others. We all need to be a little kinder and gentler with our fellow citizens.

  • Really? Some people obviously have too much time on their hands. This is ridiculous behaviour.

  • Had never the desire to become a Kmart influencer

  • I’m sorry about the way you’ve been treated. I never knew about the site but hopefully now you’ll be able to get some sleep and no more panic attacks. People can be very nasty and picky and it may just be because they are jealous that they couldn’t do what you and others can.

  • People are worse on-line than in the ‘real’ world. They think they can get away with it.

  • People are mean online when their not face to face. It is a shame for the good people that still respect others and their views and opinions

  • So sad. I love the ideas that people come up with. I don’t understand why people have to be so mean to others.

  • This bullying happens in a lot of Facebook groups. I too have joined groups and then left not long after as I was disgusted with the behaviour in them.

  • There is no need for this type of behaviour from grown up people. One of the reasons I do not go on FB a lot anymore.

  • I’m getting sometimes really tired from this.

  • Every time I see posts like this, it makes me feel so much happier that I resisted joining Facebook and still haven’t got into it. I’m happy to have a quiet life and just do my comments through email on this site. If you don’t like what I say, then you can have your opinion, but you will never bully me.

  • I asked to join a Kmart fan page on Facebook, yet deleted it less than 24 hours later as I couldn’t stand the way these women were talking to each other. Name-calling, bullying, extreme swearing, I was shocked! I was joining to get some Kmart inspiration and yet it was absolutely nothing like the Kmart shopping tips I was hoping for, just bitchy women trying to be better than each other.

  • Unfortunately bullying is everywhere. I see it all time on the MOM’s Facebook page a lot. I’ve seen gangs of women gang up on someone and say really nasty things if they disagree. They don’t just disagree, they go on the attack and the rest of us are able to see whose kids would be the bullies at school.

I once explained from a staff point of view why little kids should be fully supervised and controlled when in restaurants and I was abused not only on the post but also via PM. I received 4 PM’s which were abusive and nasty and one of them even told me that my child would be better off dead than having a mother like me.

So MOM’s is not exactly lily white either. Anyone who bullies someone else should be banned from the page but no-one seems to moderate the facebook page.
