Hello!

Kmart has just released a summer-style women’s handbag that is the perfect accessory to wine ‘o clock. It has a secret wine dispenser so you can glug down your favourite tipple on the go.

Kmart has got it right again. We are besotted with their new frozen Margherita maker and now they’ve topped it off with a sneaky way to get a glass of vino while out and about.

The navy blue and white striped tote has a concealed insulated wine cooler compartment which features a hidden tap as well as a beverage pouch, which can be removed and reused. The bladder can hold any of your favourite drink – alcoholic or not.

Perfect Summer Accessory

The handbag, housing a large main compartment with multiple interior pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap, is priced at only $25 and is available in-store and online while stocks last.

“This drink dispenser is an essential carry-along for those outdoor adventures,” says Kmart.

How The Wine Dispenser Handbag Works

Basically, you fill up the pouch with your favourite drink and then when you feel like a sip, all you need to do is take out your plastic portable cup from your bag and place it beneath the wine spout which pokes out of your bad. Forgotten your cup? No worries, you can just drink straight from the tap. Who cares what anyone thinks.

It’s Hidden

And when you’re done, a concealing flap flips over the spout and the handbag looks just like a regular tote.

This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered a miracle bag like this one. Aldi has in past, sold the same wine dispenser handbag product as part of its Special Buys. We never managed to get one at Aldi, so now is my chance.

All I want for Christmas is Kmart’s wine dispenser bag.

What do you think of Kmart’s secret wine dispenser handbag? Would you want one? Tell us in the comments below.

  • I’m not sure if I should be impressed with this or not? It seems like it could really aid people with an alcohol addiction.

  • I don’t drink so wouldn’t use this. Would be ok for other drinks I guess.

  • I think this is really silly but I’m sure there’s people out there that think it’s great

  • Good Kmart just copies every other stores ideas these days- that looks so much like the Aldi one

  • Heard about this, but not something I would use – unless I could refill the bladder with fruit juice and freeze it to keep it cool and then the whole family could have a cool drink at the beach.

    Reply

  • Haha! Perfect for the beach!!

  • It will be a new idea but soon too hard to use

  • If it is like the Aldos version (which it looks like and I usually love all things Aldos) please do not waste your money as the drink portion does not work the best…great idea but may not be as good as it seems and may leak.

    Reply

  • Not a bag I would ever have a use for.

  • It is a great idea but not for me as I don’t drink alcohol but I can gift it to my friends.

    Reply

  • Haha!! Great idea

  • This would have been a disaster for me in my drinking days! Honestly, not to be a prude, but Australia needs to look at our drinking attitudes! I’ve been at AA meetings (yes I’ve gone to plenty of AA and NA meetings and they are life-saving organisations!) and heard countless stories of mum’s day drinking and drink driving to get the kids from school, forgetting what they had done with the kids in a blackout drunk and so on. Don’t get me wrong, I used to LOVE wine and I am not judging anyone, but alcohol is a powerful drug that should be treated with respect and far less flippancy.

  • lol, what will they think of next!

  • Such a great idea for any mumma’s want to
    Have a nice alcoholic beverage

    Reply

  • No, I would never want one, I despise wine. I dont understand why you would need to keep your wine hidden, unless you have an issue
