Not a fan. I hope the children are okay with their names.

To each their own and names are such subjective things as long as the parents like the name. Some people like traditional names and some unique and unusual names. Congrats to them on having two beautiful boys.

I gave to admit I am not a fan of celebrity baby names. I think they go too far out for uniqueness.

I can appreciate unique names as it underlines that we all have our own personality and are totally unique.

  I agree with you and children do grow into their names.

Racer is often used as a nickname for somebody racing in sports. People can be cruel. Can you imagine the jokes/bullying that are going to be aimed at him.
Rocket isn’t much better. Do parents really think about their children will feel about the names they are given? Either some don’t. Some are selfish and their attitude is “live with it” Some use their middle names as they are more reasonable.

I don’t think there will be any other kids in his class with the same name. Unique names are nice and can certainly bring out personality, but I went with traditional family names. My grandma sat me down before my first bub arrived and said, as long as she could pronounce it and spell it, she would be happy.

It is an unique name and different!

unique names are great but remember the kid has it forever!
