Libby Trickett shares gorgeous photos of baby Poppy

Libby Trickett welcomed her first child into the world in August, and the proud mum has been busy sharing beautiful photos of her gorgeous little girl.

Libby gave birth on August 31 to Poppy Frances Trickett, her first child with husband Luke, whom she married in 2007.

And after 6 weeks, the 30-year-old shared that she is finally getting into the swing of motherhood, posting this sweet snap on Instagram over the weekend with the caption:

The swimming superstar has also shared other lovely moments of Poppy’s first few weeks, including this lovely tribute on Father’s Day:

they both look so happy,she waited a long time for her baby,i’m so glad to see her living her own life,not the swimming for her country life.and there’s no mistaking that smile,poppy is just lovely,and loved,there’s a lot to be said for that.

I always tell new mums to give themselves some latitude for 6 to 8 weeks – it easily takes that long.
