Mum dropped her son at daycare only to return at pick up time to find paramedics trying to revive her baby boy.
Danielle Morin dropped her 18-month-old son Deacon at Little Impressions Daycare in Fontana last week on her way to work.
When she returned to pick him up, she found paramedics trying to revive her baby boy.
Daycare staff told the grief-stricken mother that Deacon was somehow strangled by the amber teething necklace he was wearing while he slept during nap time, according to KABC.
But Danielle Morin said she believed there was more information that the daycare staff wasn’t telling her, including who performed CPR on the little boy.
The boy was rushed to the hospital, and put on life support for several days. Morin made the heart-wrenching decision to remove her son from life support on Monday afternoon.
In a heart-breaking Facebook post, Morin wrote Monday:
“Our sweet baby Deacon peacefully went to be with the Lord today. I have made the decision to donate his organs so another family’s prayers can be answered… This is the darkest day of my life but I know Deacon is with the Lord and at peace shining down upon us.
“Do [sic] to my choice to donate, we do not have a timeline for Deacons services and will let you know when we do.”
Dani wants to shut down Little Impressions Day Care, which the California Department of Social Services reportedly placed on probation for three years in 2015.
Dani has said, “First of all “Little impressions daycare”/”Marriott daycare” in Fontana do not know the facts and are trying to hide there lack of supervision by stating that Deacon choked on his Amber necklace. This is not the case and his medical examinations have shown another story. Deacon was strangled at daycare. Whether or not his beads were involved is still under investigation.”
Heart breaking. Our thoughts are with this family.
