Even though this was years ago, it still happens that the driver of the vehicle has been drinking and has young children in the car. Some people will never learn and others think themselves above the law.

When will parents learn?? I wouldn’t have a young baby out at that hour of the night anyway. This is one case where I hope the Mum isn’t breasfeeding. If so I hope they checked the baby’s blood too. The Mum doesn’t deserve to have custody of a baby. She was driving unlicensed. It makes me wonder if this is her first DUI offense.
It is fortunate that the baby must have been in a properly fitted baby restraint with it corrected fitted to the baby’s body size.

So lucky, considering how much worse it could have been!

They should actually take that poor baby away from that silly woman! Maybe then (and that\\\’s seriously a big and pretty doubtful maybe!) will she wake up and learn. Give the child to someone who really WANTS to care for, love it dearly and protect it at all costs!

I agree with MoM94125 as far as this story goes, and I’m thinking the same as MoM4107 – what is happening to people? Why are so many adults so dysfunctional and/or selfish?

OMG! that is discusting. It angers me that there are so many women out there whi cant have babies but who would make the best mun, and that there are people like this woman out there who have kids but doesnt deserve them

Far out. She was super lucky not to seriously harm herself or her child. I agree, throw the book at her. So irresponsible!

oh my gosh! i hope that this accident was well and truly, a big wake up call for her! wow she is so lucky that she didn’t hurt anyone especially her own baby! i hope that she really seeks help as she thinks that it is fine to drive drunk and clearly, it is not!. wow i am glad that this story ended as “well” as could have been.

wow simply wow – a mother of that age, driving around drunk – seriously 3 times over! – thankful that the baby only suffered minor injuries – I wonder if the mother realises that she could have killed her baby and/or herself? Hope this is a lesson she only has to learn once

Drink driving is not ok and with kids in car, it’s even worse.

  oh my goodness have you actually read the story : what is to like?? apart from the fact that they were not badly hurt.
  THROW the book at her and take away her licence.
