He faces some of the worst abuse allegations on record in NSW.

A 72-year-old man will face court in Sydney today, after being extradited from London to face more than 360 historical child sex charges.

9NEWS reports they were at Sydney International Airport as the elderly man arrived this morning, in handcuffs and flanked by detectives.

Sources have told 9NEWS the abuse allegations against him are some of the worst on record in New South Wales.

It is alleged he assaulted a girl over a prolonged period in the 1970s and 80s.

    What a shame it couldn’t have happened earlier so he could have spent life in jail!

  • Even at 72 years of age, if proven guilty I hope he gets a very long sentence.
    Pity we had to bring him back to Australia becuase it has probably cost ur Govt. a fortune, They would have sent an officer over there to collect him and bring him back under guard.
