A man will face court today on child pornography charges after police executed a search warrant on an inner Sydney home, seizing computers and other items.

Police allege the raid conducted in Surry Hills on Thursday, saw the devices seized that contained images and videos of child abuse material.

A 41-year-old man was arrested yesterday and charged with four counts of possess child abuse material, use carriage service to access child pornography material and use carriage service to distribute child pornography.

He was refused bail and is due to appear before Central Local Court today.

If it was in his possession, he will be charged whether he put it on there or not.
They have obviously traced evidence of him supplying others because it mentions distribution. In such cases bail should not be allowed as he would probably skip bail. He won’t get a Visa to enter some countries.
Even If he can prove that it was put on his computer by somebody else he will still be charged with theft of pornography. He also won’t be able to get a visa to enter some countries.
