Michael Buble’s toddler has started chemo to fight liver cancer.

Michael Buble’s three-year-old son, Noah, has liver cancer, an Argentinian magazine reported on Wednesday.

Doctors in Los Angeles confirmed Michael and his actress wife Luisana Lopilato’s worst fears last Tuesday after doing a liver biopsy following an initial examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires, shares Daily Mail.

Noah is also said to have started chemotherapy which is going to last four months, magazine Gente reports.

Buble announced details on the family following the son’s devastating diagnosis Friday.

Michael’s sister-in-law, Daniela Lopilato, said the rumours were not true that Noah is not suffering from leukaemia.

“The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means,” she said. “Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say anymore. But it’s not leukaemia or the central nervous system as people are saying. It’s all I can say.”

Michael and Luisana confirm son Noah’s illness:
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.

Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

We wish little Noah loads of strength.

  • Hope Noah has a fast recovery. Such a horrible to go through especially being so young.

  • I hope his cancer responds quickly and he doesn’t need as much Chemo as is predicted. It kills the immune system. He will need to isolated from other people as much as possible and his hands gone with special hand sanitizer when he touches anything (and I mean anything) out in public. His parents will need to do likewise so they don’t transfer any germs onto him.
