  • I agree that talking crossly is only a release for the parent and does not help situations however i don’t agree it is talking out of love. i get most cross when my child does something to endanger himself and is very much out of love.

    • I very much agree with you. The fact that we get angry and upset is because we love. If there was no love or care there then we would simply shrug and walk away.
I do agree with watching our words and what we say in anger though. Some people will just rant a lot of hurtful things rather then sticking to facts and being kind in their rant.

  • I sometimes speak with anger because it comes bubbling out, I have to remember to relax and take a deep breath sometimes.

  • That’s a beautiful quote. It reminds me of the story of the sun and wind arguing who could get the man to take off his coat. The wind blew harshly but the man held on tighter. Then the sun gently shone and the man took off his coat. Persistent love with our kids goes a long way:)

    • Thanks for sharing this beautiful and appropriate quote-love it! :)
