Did the neighbours hear the Mother and daughter screaming and crying or just the Dad?? Yes, if it was the Mother and daughter the neighbours should have called the Police and let them investigate. It is a little unclear to me.

This is so incredibly sad. I too hope they get answers soon.

It is hard to know when to investigate crying and screaming, where to you draw the line in interfering in other people’s lives. Sad but true that most people would not investigate.

Poor mother and child. And the husband entering the house to find such a tragic scene. 🙁
Indeed weird that nobody checked out what was happening after they heard the screams!

how heartbreaking for the husband/father to come home to that scene – totally devastating.

I am ashamed though that with all the media reporting on domestic violence etc that the neighbours first instinct when hearing the screaming wasn’t to call the police – that seems very unusual.

I do hope the police get a break in the case and can convict the person/s who did this horrible thing

What I also found distressing was the neighbours heard the mother and child screaming but didn’t go and check or call police. Why?
