Hello!

Become an instant multi-millionaire! All you need to do is capture the heart of a wealthy aristocrat, who is seeking a young wife and a ‘breeder’

Sir Benjamin Slade, 72, hit the headlines last year, when he originally announced his unconventional search for a life partner on morning TV. He was certainly not shy to specify his extreme set of demands his ideal candidate should meet – including that she would be no taller than 5ft6in, and aged between 30 and 40.

However, the eccentric baronet, who presides over a 13th-century estate in Somerset in the UK is still single a year later and has decided to sweeten the deal, as reported in the Daily Mail.

I Now Want Romance and You Can Shop Till You Drop

He has appeared on Good Morning Britain saying that he was trying to be less aggressive.

‘I have changed my spiel, I now say I want romance, I want to give you my credit card so you can shop until you drop,’ he said.

‘I want to take you to exotic places and I love gorgeous meals and I rush off on secret holidays. So that’s the sales spiel, I can change it,’ he said.

Sir Benjamin, is a descendant of King Charles II and runs several businesses including a wedding venue and a B&B, and is hoping that his new wife would be able to take over the management of this companies.

A Few Heirs

He also said that he planned to have children with his new partner.

‘I have been looking very hard and I’ve had lots of excitement. I’m just trying to propose a deal but a lot of people don’t want to have any more children.

‘I have lots of fabulous girlfriends but they are over 50 and they don’t want to or can’t have any more children.

‘I think it’s quite important to have children and have a family but I think it’s about time we started.’

You Don’t Know What You’re Going To Get

When asked if he’d considered adoption, Sir Benjamin pointed out that his age was an issue.

‘You don’t know what you’re going to get though do you,’ he said.

‘They did tell me I am too old to adopt and that I am very right-wing, you have to be politically correct, if you hunt, shoot, fish and eat meat you do not get to adopt children you don’t get to adopt children…’

The Long List

His excessive list of requirements for the perfect ‘breeder’ included height specifications (she should be no taller than 5ft6ins), aged between 30 and 40, possess a gun licence and be ‘castle trained’.

The nobleman has made the promise of £50,000 (AU$90,000) a year in ‘pocket money’, but has failed to find his dream woman.

Sir Benjamin Julian Alfred Slade inherited his baronetcy from his father in 1962 and was previously married to Pauline Myburgh from the late 1970s until 1991 before they divorced.

The childless man has since courted American actress Kirsten Hughes who he says ‘went off with my handyman in 2011′.

  • Im over the 40yr cut off and I cant be a breeder for him and no amount of money is worth putting up with a prig anyway.

  • Seems to me he is too picky – I’m sure many young women have applied for the ‘position’. Then again most women of the age he wants don’t want to be with a 72 year old man.

  • Maybe the woman with the extensive list for her future husband (another article I read on MOMS) should meet this guy!

  • I wonder if he’s found his wife and breeder? It’s not such a bad position to fill

  • What on earth is “castle trained”?

  • Um, no thanks. I’m still in love with my husband of 28 years. It’s sad that this is what love has come to.

  • One of the catches is the lady has to take over running the businesses. No wonder he has no wife. She would have the energy to run all his businesses and have children too.

  • Well I don’t have a gun license and what is castle training? Otherwise I’m the right height and age but married lol

  • Maybe if he was younger, I was younger……….maybe. I wonder if my husband would mind ?

  • Shop to you drop oh yes please oh wait I’m to old

  • This article is hilarious. The guy sounds really funny! Hate to think what other kind of ‘rules’ he has for any potential suitors.

  • I’m too old and too tall, but I do have 2 kids he can adopt as his heirs ????????

  • By reading the article No wonder no one had applied!

  • I may be a little short… but I can tick the boxes for other requirements! I’m your lady!

  • I wouldn’t do it. Somebody would marry him just to give him some kids. It’s sad that he’s looking at starting a family just now. Sad for the conceived kids too actually. :-(
