No, there isn’t a new collectable campaign afoot (thank goodness) but mums and their kids are going nuts over a mini supermarket set, recently launched at Woolworths.
Who better than to market a miniature supermarket, than an actual supermarket? This adorable, mini supermarket set-up comes equipped with a checkout, scanner, cash register and 47 accessories, which includes shopping bags, shelves and of course, the ubiquitous Woolies signage.
The role-playing toy retails for $60, but is available in some stores at the introductory price of only $40.

“With Christmas around the corner and parents starting to look for fun gifts that fosters creativity and imagination, we’ve introduced a mini Woolworths supermarket for all the fresh food kids in the making,” a Woolworths spokesperson said.
“They’re already proving to be a popular gift with customers and we expect them to be a big hit this Christmas.”
It’s Going Straight Under The Tree!
Shoppers have expressed their excitement on social media.

The new mini supermarket measures 750mm high and 460mm wide and is available at most stores across the country.
