The recalled products include Devondale butter varieties and Woolworths Butter.

The butter and butter products are being recalled due to a potential microbial contamination, which may cause illness if consumed.

  • Always have this butter in the fridge, checked, thankfully wasn’t in the recall. So many recalls of late :-(

  • Our local Spudshed has heaps of Devon sake butter and I almost got some over the weekend but something stopped me. Phew!

I know the likelihood of contaminated product still being on the shelf is slim but I’m still glad I grabbed a nuttlex instead.

  • Wholly molly this could be bad for the unexpecting person if they don’t know about the recall. How scary

  • Lucky I have aldi butter in my fridge. I really don’t like how we don’t hear about recalls until we look it up. I’m not looking up every product I buy with the production dates. Even a toy I purchased as a gift was recalled because it said, ‘Age 1+’ but it should have said ‘Age 3+.’ I’m sure people know what a one year old can play with?!
