Hello!

It was only yesterday that we reported about the brand new sweet treat churros maker. But now, there’s a new 3-in-1 kitchen appliance to fawn over and we have no idea how we’re going to find space to squeeze this one in.

Just in time for Christmas, Kmart has launched a new appliance that is an oven, air fryer AND dehydrator, all-in-one.

We are already all over the discount retailer’s $69 air fryer. But for just an extra 60 bucks, you can get an oven and dehydrator, as well as the air fryer, all in one action-packed product.

The $129 air fryer oven is causing quite a frenzy amongst shoppers, with many saying it would be perfect for camping trips and compact kitchens.

Packs A Punch

It has a massive 11-litre capacity – that’s plenty of room for a whole chook – and comes with an LED touch screen display.

There are 10 pre set functions, including Chips, chops, prawns, baking, drumsticks, steaks, fish, chicken, dehydrate and defrost.

The appliance also comes bundled with a number of accessories including: a rotisserie basket, air flow racks, drip tray, rotisserie fork set, fetch tool and heating element protective cover.

Frustration With Stock

However, taking a quick glance at the Kmart website shows that the new product is out of stock all over the place, but is available for purchase online.

We reckon by keeping stock availability low, Kmart creates a buzz of activity, especially amongst facebook groups where entire conversations are centred around where lucky consumers have managed to score themselves one.

My hubby will literally hit the roof if I come home with another kitchen appliance, so I’m going to have to leave this one for you. But we’d love to know what you make in it.

  • Crazy. I have heard good things about them though

  • I think it takes up too much space in my kitchen so I won’t be buying it.

  • I a not patient enough to wait 45 minutes for my chips to cook in an air fryer

  • This would be a fantastic idea if they could create one that used bottled gas for camping trips or living in caravans

  • So glad I don’t have a need for this gadget as the things it cooks are all off my husband’s diet regime these days.

  • I’d like to see one in action first before buying although they do sound great

  • I’m really curious what people think of it! When I buy stuff I want it to do as many things as possible ie for ever and day just had a wok, then eventually had to get a massive stock pot, because cooking really long simmered stock in a wok is silly. But really a wok can cook just about everything else. Same with knives (why do I need a set of 12 when 3 carefully selected ones of better quality are infinitely better and cheaper?). I\’d really like a mini oven since reheating a pie etc in a massive oven at 3kW is such a waste. Soonish I\’ll need to replace the microwave. So I was thinking of an inverter convection, but I\’m still tempted by a mini-oven and I saw some similar sized air fryers on Kogan. I\’m really tempted by this.

Someone please tell me what its like!

  • I’d like an air fryer. It’s much healthier.
