Sadly the mum has passed away after fighting for her life in Royal Melbourne Hospital following a car accident on the way to see her premmie bub in hospital.

Kerry Arrow has sadly passed away in her sleep on Monday.

A Facebook post yesterday reads, “Kerry Budding/Arrow, mother of Jock Budding born Nov 18, passed away in her sleep last night. Phil, her husband, says she was surrounded by family and friends.”

Another post reads “We lost a truly special person last night. I am honoured to have called you my friend Kerry Budding (Arrow). I cannot put into words how I feel but I will never forget you and I’m so grateful I got to tell that I valued you and loved. Fly high now Kerry and watch over your baby boy. I miss you already xxxxxx”

Kerry and her husband, Phil, were reportedly on the way to hospital to see their sick newborn baby, Jock, when the car veered off a dirt driveway in Healesville and into the dam, reports 7 news.

The 36-year-old was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital while her husband was interviewed by police and later released without charge.

Mamamia reports, Dr Kerry Budding, a clinical psychologist, gave birth to her first child, Jock, prematurely two weeks ago. She had endured an extremely difficult pregnancy suffering severe hyperemesis gravidarum.

She wrote on Facebook that hyperemesis gravidarum had changed their lives, adding she is determined “to openly discuss the illness that has, and continues to, threaten everything important in my life “

Kerry wrote, “It isn’t pretty and we sure as hell are not the happy go lucky couple we used to be. We may never be again.

But day by day we work through it as best we can. There are tears every day. There is anger every day. There is the potential to fall into darkness so great we may never recover from it. But there is also a life inside of me that was created with so much love.

We have both discussed and considered termination multiple times. There is currently an application for a late term abortion being heard by an ethics committee because it may come to that. But it doesn’t have to.

So we do what we can with whoever is prepared to help us. And those who are creating conflict or tension or chaos are ruthlessly cut from our team. Because Mickalien will only turn Humanoid if we as a couple get real about the situation we are in, and front up to it head on. Using any means necessary to get all three of us to the other side.”

Our thoughts are with Kerry’s friends and family. We are broken for her precious baby boy.

  • In the update, sadly the Mum lost her fight for life and passed awy. Their precious baby boy will never know his Mum. Phil has a long, long road ahead of him, hoping their baby boy will gain a healthy happy life, while coping with his grief that initially could take 12 months or more. Hopefully his families, friends and employer will give him ongoing support – not just for a few weeks. It is later when you feel you have been forgotten. Sometimes grieving people just want somebody to talk to.

  • I do hope this turns out to be a horrible accident, and not deliberate.
