Featuring puppies, pecs and plenty of eye candy, this smoking hot calendar is raising money for an important cause.

The 2019 Australian Firefighters Calendar is here and rather than putting out fires, these guys are heating things up for Aussie charities, including $2 from every calendar sold going to the farmer’s relief fund, news.com.au reports. With five different versions to choose from, the calendar features a selection of Australia’s hottest firemen posing alongside animals from Australia Zoo, as well as a number of rescue dogs, cats and horses.

Getting Bigger and Stronger

The director of the calendar, David Rodgers, told news.com.au that they remain passionate about the charitable contribution made by its production. “Every year we continue to get bigger and stronger,” he said. “We are proud to have another year supporting Australia’s wildlife. It’s (also) vital that we support these farmers during the drought. A lot of our model firefighters are from these rural areas. We had to jump in and really work to support the boys.”

Supporting Local Initiatives

The success of the calendar over the past four years has meant that the project has been able to support local initiatives, including charities like Healing Hooves which uses horses as a form of therapy for people with mental disabilities and war veterans suffering from PTSD. Since the first edition of the calendar in 1993, almost $3 million dollars has been raised for Australian charities.

What an amazing way to raise money for these incredible charities and we have to admit that the calendar is pretty easy on the eyes too.

  • I don’t think my husband would be too happy if I got this calendar ????

  • I would choose the Hot Firefighters Edition 2. Glad this is going to a worthy cause.

  • These would make great Christmas Kris Kringle presents. Great to see some of the funds going to charity.

  • Plenty of people will be buying this for Christmas pressies.

  • I think they are all great. The fact that they will be using the proceeds to help farmers is a wonderful thing. Every year they just get better and better. I’d choose the puppy calendar first but if they’ve all gone I wouldn’t mind which one.

  • We love the fireman calendar!

  • And it’s funny to see these being sold through our Shopping Centre – by models dressed up as Firefighters! Many women swoon and flirt. A good way to raise funds though. Can’t complain.

  • Ha I had to watch it again as I wasn’t reading it. My attention was on the men!!! So rewatching it and reading it definitely the puppy dog calendar. Ooh what a treat to look at this calendar every day. I sure wouldn’t miss an appt at all!

  • A lot of worthwhile charities get no Govt. assistance at all. This is one of their ways of raising funds. Some Voluntary Emergency Services get no assistance at all yet have to comply with all Govt. regulations. I think Australia Zoo is a business. I wonder what they are going to use the funds for unless they are doing worthwhile research.

  • Hehe I don’t think my husband would approve

  • I love that is supports local initiatives. For charity, why not?

  • Here I was wondering what to get people for Xmas. I think I may have just stumbled on the solution.

  • Hot damn!!

  • Raising money for charity is great, but I’d rather have a calendar with great photos of landscapes.

  • I would choose the puppy calendar. But the others are so gorgeous too!!

    • I am with you – puppies win every time! :)
