Message To The Bushfire Victims

Despite all this exciting change in Princess Mary’s family life, she has still taken time to share a message of support to the bushfire victims.

“In this time of great hardship caused by the ruthless bushfires, my husband and I would like to convey our warmest wishes to the Australian people as we enter a new year,” she wrote in a letter address to Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

“Our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and our deepest sympathy to the many families who have lost their homes – their livelihoods.

“When the immediate crisis subsides and people can begin to return from where they have fled, our thoughts and concerns will remain with the affected local communities, as it will undoubtedly take great efforts and time for them to rebuild what has been lost.”

  • Switzerland is a beautiful country, we frequently went there on holiday when I was a child. An international school experience sounds great but I wouldn’t like to separate from my children.

  • It’s a shame they have made it known as the media will find them pretty quickly and wreck their chance of privacy. It is their decision to do so.
It must be difficult for her knowing there is so many bushfires in Australia including in Tasmania where her family lives
