Hello!

One of the greatest joys of being a Mum is watching your children grow.

It doesn’t matter whether they’re tiny little things or they’re turning into young adults, it’s still the same amazing feeling.

Over the past 6 months, I’ve seen so many changes in my first born daughter Emma. She’s my third child but first daughter so it’s been fun watching my little girl become a big girl. SIGH.

Yes she’s growing taller, she fits into my shoes (!), wants to try out all my makeup and can be a little testing at times! That’s all normal and to be expected.  Most importantly though and at the risk of bringing a tear to my eye, I’ve watched her flourish within herself and socially.

She’s so much more confident with other adults and certainly with her friends; she’s becoming the very best version of herself she can be.

It makes me happy with many of the choices we’ve made for her – home, sport, school but also the fact that we chose Invisalign treatment for her teeth alignment work. The fact that Invisalign treatment is so straightforward has meant that Ems can continue to focus on what’s important to her while she works towards an even more beautiful smile …

She’s playing more sport than ever;

She’s so much more interested in good food (and helping out in the kitchen);

And hanging out with her friends is now her favourite thing.

I’ve even watched with pride to see Ems stay completely focused on following her Invisalign treatment plan. I know some parents considering alignment options worry their children may forget to put their Invisalign aligners back in after they eat or may not keep them clean … but she finds it very straightforward.

I’m so glad we encouraged Ems to go with Invisalign treatment; she’s over halfway through and feeling fantastic. I’m feeling fantastic too – the payment plan our Orthodontist offered has taken away the stress of one lump sum payment and the results we’re seeing in Emma’s entire approach to life is amazing.

Look at her go – she’s awesome! Looking life in the eye and smiling straight back!

5 reasons why a visit to the orthodontist is a good idea
Wow! Who knew there was an alternative to braces we’d all love!
  • “Like Mother, like daughter” as the saying goes. Hair colour appears to be the only difference. The new method of orthdontic treatment has improved so much over the years. I had the old style braces on my teeth while I was in high school and got them off just before I finished at school. One of the lovely teachers was so excited for me she made a point of asking how I coped getting them off and asked to see my “new” teeth. I had the braces because two of my top teeth were pushing against my gum and making my lip protude.

  • This has been a really lovely story to follow. My son had braces and a lot of discussoin and thought went into the why. It was important to us that it was not purely an aesthetic reason. It was so much deeper than that and it was a great investment to see him smile with confidence, watch his self esteem grow, and his confidence shine.

  • I’m obsessive about looking after my son’s teeth because mine are so awful. But I’m still going to teach him that how his teeth look are nothing to do with his value as a person.
