Aspiria Australia have recalled Crane Sports Inflatable Pegasus and Flamingo sold at ALDI stores.
The product poses an increased drowning risk due to missing a required warning label.
ACCC advises consumers the product labelling is not in accordance with the Consumer Protection Notice No. 2 of 2009
‘Consumer Product Safety Standard for Flotation Toys and Aquatic Toys’. The products are missing the following warning: WARNING. AQUATIC TOY. USE ONLY UNDER SUPERVISION.
If children are not supervised while using the products, there is an increased risk of drowning.
Consumers should stop using the products and return them to their nearest ALDI store for a refund.
