ACCC have issued a recall for a popular child’s construction toy due to concerns over the magnets becoming lose.

RECALL NEOPUZZLE SETS

Neopuzzle sets were sold through various retailers nationally between September 2016 – May 2017

Neopuzzles are a child’s construction toy with bright and translucent shapes that are made from plastic with enclosed magnets.

Due to failure of the plastic welds, the product may came apart and expose the magnets.

The product fails the Australian mandatory standard Consumer Protection Notice No 5 of 2010: Children’s toys with magnets.

DEFECT: Magnets may become loose. The product does not comply with the mandatory requirements for magnetic toys in Consumer Protection Notice number 5 of 2010.

4 different shapes in each set. 5 different sets of 18, 32, 56, 74 and 100 pieces.

Puzzle sets 474110, 474123, 474134, 474147 and 474152.

HAZARD: Swallowed magnets can stick together across intestines causing serious infections and death.

WHAT TO DO: Consumers should immediately stop using Neopuzzle Sets and contact Regalflow Pty Ltd to organise for their return or collection and to obtain replacement sets at no cost.
