Ingredients (makes 30 )

  • 250gm Pork mince
  • 150gm spinach (lightly steamed and chopped finely)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp raw sugar
  • 2 tsp Ground ginger
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 30 wonton wrappers
  • Sweet vinegar to serve

Method

  1. Marinate pork mince with say sauce, sugar, ginger, oil salt and pepper. Leave in fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the pork mixture and spinach together, mix well.
  3. Place about 2 tbsp of the pork and spinach filling in the middle of one wonton wrapper, and wet the edges with some water. Fold and place aside. Repeat for all other wrappers.
  4. Steam the dumplings for 15 minutes on high heat and serve with sweet vinegar as dipping sauce :)

  • Pork and spinach dumplings sound like a good combination. Great recipe but I will leave out the ginger as I am not a fan.

  • This recipe sounds like it would have a really delicious flavour. I’ve never used wonton wrappers, but I guess it won’t hurt to give it a go. If anyone’s got any hints on working with wonton wrappers, I’d really appreciate it.
