bit of fun for the kids, they can help to make this fairly quick and easy meal

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500g pkt pork sausages
  • 250g grated cheese
  • 200ml tomato sauce or relish
  • 1kg potatoes (mashed)
  • 150g butter
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch brocolinni
  • 4 carrots
  • 220g tin corn

Method

  1. peel the potatoes and put into cold water. bring to the boil until tender, drain and mash adding butter salt and pepper
  2. steam broccolini (trees) carrots (houses) and corn
  3. cook pork sausages until done then split down the center and add sauce or relish and cheese (stuffed pigs)
  4. arrange the vegetables on one side of the plate (looks like trees etc) then the mash potato is the 'cloud' that the flying stuffed pig (the sausage) is flying on
  5. what can i say the kids got imagination :)
